A E R O F O N I A

Aerofonia is a chamber duo based in Slovenia, formed by saxophonist Weronika Partyka and organist Tjaša Drovenik Adamec. The ensemble is dedicated to exploring the sonic and expressive relationship between saxophone and organ — a rare yet exceptionally rich instrumental combination that allows for a wide sonic palette and an interplay between airiness and the fullness of sound. At the core of the duo’s artistic identity is the creation of thoughtfully curated concert programs that bring together original works, arrangements, and contemporary compositions. Particular attention is given to tonal balance, stylistic diversity, and the search for new interpretative possibilities within the dialogue of the two instruments. The duo has performed at concert venues and festivals in Slovenia, Austria, and Croatia.Aerofonia appears regularly in concert, festival, and recording projects. Their programs address both specialist and general audiences, highlighting a less frequently represented yet expressively compelling chamber sound world.
